eMediaplus in the UK is the arm of the parent company in the States formed to address the rising impact of IT equipment disposal on the environment and to claw back some of the cash that is thrown away when serviceable components are dumped.
eMediaplus in the UK simply focuses on tape and disk media for buyback and supply. We do the following:-
- Buy back used tape media to support the recertification process. We buy all the up-to-date formats for up to £10 per tape. Not all tape has value as some older formats are no longer in demand. However LTO2, LTO3, LTO4 are in demand, as is IBM and STK tape such as T1000, SDLT and AIT. Even different brands of certain tape formats warrant higher buy back rates!
- Supply all tape media requirements at the lowest prices
- Provide the best price on the day by identifying the best deals across the US and Europe. Any format and any quantity!
- Supply recertified media at up to 50% less than the cost of new media. Recertified media is previously used mediawhich has been through a stringent 7 stage process to eradicate any data and to bring tape cartridges back to new condition both physically and with functionality fully restored
